Our story begins with Clifton Posey, a Vietnam veteran who found his calling in the trees of Upstate South Carolina after returning from service. Clifton started working in tree services, cutting trees and caring for the Upstate South Carolina Landscape throughout the region.

His passion was passed down to his son, Junior Laws, who grew up working alongside him. In 1993, just one year after his own son Carson was born, Junior took the leap to start JR Tree Removal, solidifying the family’s legacy in the industry.

With Junior Laws at the helm, his son Carson by his side, and multiple family members on the team, we bring a unique blend of experience, passion, and dedication to every job we undertake.

Called for a quote to dead wood and raise the limbs on several trees. Price was reasonable and they were able to show up the next day due to a last minute cancellation. Did the work very well and completely clean up both the driveway and street. Could not tell they were even there after they left. Very happy. Have used them before and will use them again.
